Brazilian FUTEBOL partners that also manage FIBRE islands have participated the FIBRE face-to-face meeting this week.
The meeting happened in 20-21 February and was hosted by Federal University of Goias (UFG) in Goiânia, Brazil. Day one was dedicated to a tutorial on the development of OMF6 control framework, which is being adopted by the FIBRE project.
On day two, representatives from all FIBRE islands, including operators, developers, and members of the advisory board gathered and discussed the progress of their activities. During the advisory board meeting, Cristiano Both presented the current status of FUTEBOL testbed deployment and experiments development. Discussions on integration of FIBRE and FUTEBOL resources for experimentation were also initiated.
