ANATEL in Fortaleza’s FUTEBOL Plenary

From the 2nd to 4th October 2018, there was the workshop on "Comunicações Móveis" and the Plenary Meeting of FUTEBOL, hosted by UFC in Fortaleza. In the workshop and the meeting, MSc. EUSIPCO 2018

Dr. Yi Zhang recently (04/09/2018) presented an experimental paper regarding TCD's work in FUTEBOL at European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), Rome, Italy. It was about dynamic CPU resource allocation of LTE eNB BBU pool by Linux containers. Dr. Valerio Frascolla was the session chair. Google Mind the Gap at UFMG

In the beginning of August 2018, UFMG team represented FUTEBOL at the Google Mind the Gap event. This event aims to bring more women to computer science. In the end of July 2018, Dr. Luiz DaSilva and Dr. Juliano Wickboldt have been in Natal, representing FUTEBOL at CSBC 2018 (http://natal.uern.br/eventos/csbc2018/), with an invited talk, a demo booth and panel participation. Once more, FUTEBOL was represented in the main European telecom scientific event, promoted by the European Commission. Year Two Review

Between the 29th of May and 1st of June 2018 the consortium had a meeting in Dublin for the FUTEBOL's second year review. During those days, The reviewers had the chance to question the consortium about several aspects of the project and also to see live/recorded demos using the testbeds and our control framework. The review days are challenging, but the project members reach the last day with the feeling of duty accomplished.
